I have heard it called the Magical Mystery Tour, or more aptly, the Magical Misery Tour…either name is pretty accurate because this is the great jobs tour where Obama is travelling to three States to talk to people about jobs. He expects to find answers as to what is working, so he is visiting places with LOW unemployment.
This is just another junket for this moron where he can stand in front of his fans and provide them the same tired old clichés, the same lame excuses and the same promises of unbridled hope for the future…we have heard this before….many times…almost continuously since this fool took office!
Nothing new there.
So, lets take a look at the things he said in Cannon Falls , Minnesota , yesterday, According to the President he chose to visit Cannon Falls because he “heard that Cannon Falls has some of the smartest, best-looking kids around. And you have confirmed the rumor about the outstanding children of Cannon Falls . “
Fair enough. After being surrounded by the ugly ignorant fools advising him in the White House, I can understand why he would want to see some smart, good looking kids. (Maybe he should give some of these kids a job in the White House…they have to be better than the current crop of morons!)
Anyway, the quotes below have been taken directly from the White House web site, as their transcript of the Presidents speech and answers to questions. Before anybody accuses me of cherry picking the quotes and taking them out of context, the truth is that I took them word for word….and as much within contect as space and time would allow. Any more quotes from this idiot and all my readers would run away in either boredom or disgust….
So, lets take a look at the fine words spoken by the Doofus-in Chief on his “jobs” tour….
1. “So there is nothing wrong with America that can’t be fixed; what’s broken is our politics. Think about it: Over the last six months, we’ve had a string of bad luck -- there have been some things that we could not control. You had an Arab Spring in the Middle East that promises more democracy and more human rights for people, but it also drove up gas prices -- tough for the economy, a lot of uncertainty. And then you have the situation in Europe , where they’re dealing with all sorts of debt challenges, and that washes up on our shores. And you had a tsunami in Japan , and that broke supply chains and created difficulties for the economy all across the globe.”
Rule number 1…find someone or something to blame. Avoid responsibility, and always make the lies believable. Does anybody else find it deeply concerning that this moron has such a plethora of excuses…a never ending supply of bad luck….Arab uprisings driving up oil prices, European debt crises that was up on our shores, Japanese tsunamis that damage manufacturing supply lines…oh woe is me…how much do I have to live with?
Let me see….if America had capitalized on its own oil deposits rather than relying on foreign oil, the oil price surge caused by the so called Arab Spring (or better named Brotherhood Takeover) would not have been a concern. So Obama, how about accepting responsibility for preventing the utilization of American oil deposits? No? No! If he did that he would be breaking rule number 1!
The European debt crisis. Clearly there are problems in Europe , so one would expect the Euro to drop against the US dollar, right? After all, if Europe is verging on collapse, or has to bail out member nations, surely it’s currency would also be weakened? So, if that is the case, how is it that the Euro is strengthening against the US dollar? That is an easy one. The Obama policies have weakened the US dollar to the point that it is even weaker than the Euro! Canadian and Australian dollars are now worth more than the US dollar! So, Obama, don’t go blaming the European debt crisis for our economic woes…we have a debt problem that you idiots are solving by inflating the dollar and weakening the currency. Not the other way round!
As for tsunamis, they are certainly “out of the blue”. However, if successive democratic administrations and republic foolishness had not promoted union thuggery and extreme regulation, America ’s manufacturing base could have stayed in this country and not been forced off-shore. If America had a strong manufacturing base it would not be held at the mercy of damaged manufacturing supply lines caused by unexpected events.
So, Obama…while these “events” did indeed occur, the impact on America and the economic climate here at home need not have been anywhere near as significant as it was….(or at least as you claim it to be)….and you and your ilk are directly to blame for this!
2. “We’ve got a willingness to play partisan games and engage in brinksmanship that not only costs us in terms of the economy now, but also is going to place a burden on future generations. And the question is, can we break out of that pattern? Can we break out of that pattern? Think about it: We just went through this debacle with the debt ceiling -- an entirely self-inflicted wound. It wasn’t something that was necessary. We had put forward a plan that would have stabilized our debt and our deficits for years to come. But because we’ve got a politics in which some folks in Congress -- not the folks who are here -- but some in Congress would rather see their opponents lose than America win, we ended up creating more uncertainty and more damage to an economy that was already weak.”
Mr. President, the brinkmanship you so deride was as a direct result of your not taking the right actions when you could have. You had control of the House and the Senate. You knew the debt ceiling was approaching. You did not demand that congress lift that ceiling when you could have done anything you wanted. IN fact you have not demanded a Congressional budget since your Presidency began. Are these the actions of a concerned citizen or are they the actions of a person hiding something. It is clear that you did not want to saddle Democrats with a failed plan…so you waited until you could get Republicans included in a bipartisan agreement. That way, the heat for a failed fiscal policy could be shared equally. But you expected Republicans to fold, to agree with what you wanted. Well…they didn’t. They sent you a message that compromise is UNACCEPTABLE from this point on. Deal with it.
You can blame whoever you want, and in as many tired old speeches as you wish to give….it simply doesn’t matter. The facts cannot be changed, and the facts are that Republicans are doing what they need to do to prevent you from going further down the path of destruction. I pray they can do enough to keep you as useless as possible until the next election.
3. “Now, we can’t have patience with that kind of behavior anymore. I know you’re frustrated, and I’m frustrated, too. We’ve got to focus on growing this economy, putting people back to work, and making sure that the American Dream is there not just for this generation but for the next generation. “
OMG…so now we have to focus on getting people back to work? So, you do this by conducting a 3 day campaigning trip to be followed by a 10 day vacation? I like your style of focus, a-hole!
4. “Think about it. Our biggest challenge right now is putting people to work. Biggest challenge is getting the economy growing as rapidly as it needs to grow. It’s been growing. We’ve been able to reverse the recession. We’ve added over 2 million jobs in the private sector over the last 17 months.”
There we go again. Let’s state the obvious, add a couple of lies, provide statistics that are meaningless and everybody will swoon at his feet. Two million jobs? What is the net job loss in that period? 4 million plus? So we can look at this another way….while this liar has been president, 6 millon people have LOST their jobs, and only 2 million have found employment. Does that sound like a recession that is over to you? It sure as hell doesn’t to me…and I bet those 4 million unable to find work don’t think so either!
5. “And so for us to say at a time when interest rates are low, contractors are begging for work, construction workers are lining up to find jobs -- let’s rebuild America. We could be rebuilding roads and bridges and schools and parks all across America right now. Could put hundreds of thousands of folks to work right now.”
Hundreds of thousands of people…did you hear that? We could put hundreds of thousands of people to work right now! Ummmm….isn’t this guy the same idiot that joked…”I guess shovel ready wasn’t as shovel ready as we thought”? So where are these hundreds of thousands of jobs? And if they exist, why aren’t people doing them? Come on Obama…some facts please. What are they going to be doing? Who wll employ them? How soon will they be working? You say now, but what does that mean?
Idiot!
6. “Patent reform is something that a lot of folks don’t talk about, but our entrepreneurs, when they come up with a good idea, if we could reform how that system works and cut some of the red tape, we could have entrepreneurs creating businesses like Google and Microsoft right now, all across the country. But we’ve got to make this investment, and Congress could make that decision to make it happen.“
Patent reform? You have got to be joking. Let me get this right….if we have patent reform we will have people starting the next Google or Microsoft? LMAO
If the current system is preventing the next Google or Microsoft, how come we actually HAVE a Google and Microsoft? I actually agree Patent reform is needed, but it is NEVER going to generate new jobs at the rate this idiot claims. He uses this because few people understand the patent process, and John Q. Public can be easily fooled into believing this can create jobs in the near future. What crap!
7. “I was in Holland, Michigan, the other day and I said, I don’t know about how things work in your house, but in my house if I said, you know, Michelle, honey, we got to cut back, so we’re going to have you stop shopping completely -- you can’t buy shoes, you can’t buy dresses -- but I’m keeping my golf clubs -- -- you know, that wouldn’t go over so well.”
You better be careful, Obama. If you tried to take her dresses and vacations away, it would not end well for you at all. Can you say another fat lip and shrieking and wailing that could be heard all the way to Rodeo Drive ….and just think of the impact on the world economy with so few luxury goods being bought?
Now to use his stupid analogy….he is comparing spending in the future with something he already has…
How is keeping his golf clubs in any way connected with cutting back on spending? Now if he said she has to stop buying dresses but he will continue to eat out at fancy restaurants and will buy new suits for each one, then the anology makes sense….except it wouldn’t generate a laugh…so he has to come up with something as pathetic as this piece of nonsense to get a laugh!
8. “But I want everybody to understand here that I’m not here just to enjoy the nice weather, I’m here to enlist you in a fight. We are fighting for the future of our country. (Applause.) And that is a fight that we are going to win. That is a promise that I make with your help.”
But let’s quiet down the rhetoric….they are extremists and terrorists and I am here to enlist you in a fight that we will win….hmmm…I like the imagery….do you also want them to get in our faces while we tone down the rhetoric?
9.“The key -- and I want everybody to pay attention to this as the debate unfolds over the next couple of months -- the key is not to try to cut more out of programs for poor folks or programs for seniors. The key right now is to get a long-term plan for fiscal stability. And in the short term, we should actually make more investments that would put people to work and get the economy moving. And if you combine those two things, we can actually solve this problem and grow the economy at the same time.”
Mr Idiot, you do know what you are saying here don’t you? You are saying that the key to long term stability is not by reducing debt. You are saying that the key to long term stability is not by reducing spending.
You are saying that the key to long term stability is by INCREASING spending.
You idiot!
10. “So don’t let folks fool you by saying that in order to get a handle on our debt we’ve got to slash Social Security. There are some modest adjustments that can be made that will make it solvent for 75 years -- and that’s about as long as you can think ahead as a country.”
“And the way to do it is similar to the way that Ronald Reagan and Tip O’Neill fixed Social Security back in 1983. They said, okay, we’ll make some modest adjustments that are phased in over a very long period of time; most folks don’t notice them. But if we do that, and all the money goes back into Social Security -- it doesn’t go anywhere else -- then there’s no reason why Social Security won’t be there for future generations. But, again, this is an example of where everybody gets so dug in on their positions.”
Ok Obama….makes sense to me. SO why not tell us just what these modest adjustments are? What’s that? You don’t know yet? But you have had people working on it, right? Sorry, did you say that it is something you are thinking about? Has the CBO told you the plans will work? What, they haven’t looked at them yet?
Mr. President…what exactly is this plan? Does it even exist or is it just more fanciful wishful thinking that you are using to fool the stupid?
Show us the plan, sir, or it doesn’t exist!
11.“ But don’t buy into this whole notion that somehow government doesn’t do us any good; government is what protects us. The government is what built the Interstate Highway System. Government is what sent a man to the Moon. It’s what invested in the research and development that created innovations all across this country. “
Enough said!
So…there is no doubt this President is worried. He is worried about the strength of the conservative movement. He is scared about the lack of economic growth. He is scared about the unemployment level. He is scared about the financial meltdown.
And he does not have a clue what to do about it!
But of course, he should be scared. His own party does not like the fact that he has not executed their agenda as fully as they wanted. They are looking for an all out run to the finish line, but he wants a second term…so he is trying to appease the right and the left but has no idea what he should be doing.
He appeals to a public that thinks he is doing a crappy job…not much to be gained there.
And he is scared mostly of….
….having to tell his wife that he screwed up and they are getting thrown out of their home in 2013. They will have to cut back…no more vacations, no more dresses, no more shoes….
But don’t worry Obama, you will have all the time in the world to play golf, so you better keep those clubs….
On second thoughts, life will be no different for then except for being nagged constantly about needing a new pair of shoes for the kids….the golf course can remain your escape from reality…
Idiot!
Stupid is as stupid says.
